2023 Summer Camp Dates & Registrations

Tackle Football

Registration Closed!

Monday - Friday July 24th - July 28th

What to start the season off right? Join youth football coach Chris Merrill and other members from Springfield's football community the week of July 24th from 5pm - 7pm at Riverside Park.

Never played tackle football before? That is okay, this camp is designed for beginners and experienced players ages 8-12.

Each session players will learn different aspects of the game from how it is played to offensive and defensive skills. For both the line and the back field. But, they will not just learn football. Players will also learn teamwork, sportsmanship, humility, and responsibility amongst other life long skills.

Though this is a tackle football camp, and they will learn how to be a better tackler, this is a low contact drill based camp. We will be focusing on finer individual skills in nearly all positions. Only a shirt and shorts are required. Cleats are recommended. If you need a pair of cleats contact Parks & Recreation.

Register by July 2nd to guarantee a t-shirt. The cost of this camp is $50.00.
